This has been the worst spring for sickness that Katie has ever had. She always has sinus and strep troubles in the spring (though she's tested negative for allergies), but this spring has been ridiculous.
Week of March 14: sinus infection
Week of March 28: strep throat and ear infection
Week of April 11: sinus infection
Week of May 2: sinus infection
She's been on three different types of antibiotics, and none of them seem to fully kick this thing. Poor girl was miserable by the time she got home from school yesterday. Took a two-hour nap (which she NEVER does anymore) and had a fever of 102 when she woke up. Guessing she probably won't go to school today.
We're not sure if it's because of the crazy weather we've had here this spring (we've had 21 inches of rain since the first of March and unseasonably low temperatures) or if Katie has something going on with her nasal anatomy, maybe related to her cleft. We're going to try to get her in to see an ENT at Children's who specializes in nasal/sinus issues to see what he thinks.
Summer can't come soon enough here!

Ugh... I am eagerly anticipating Katie's appointment, too.
This little "sickness schedule" looks a lot like Gracie's, as you know. Boo for our girls.
