Cover Yourself!

Some of you may remember about a year and a half ago when Katie took issue with anyone who put their hands in their pockets. We playfully dubbed her the "Pocket Police," and she even showed off her skills at Halloween that year.

Well, now she's appointed herself to the Skin Patrol! She doesn't like for her shirt to ride up where her belly or back shows, and she doesn't like for Arlin's or my shirts to ride up like this either. She will quickly pull them down.

Tonight, she and Arlin were at Wal-Mart getting the groceries, and Katie spotted a woman down one of the aisles with her shirt riding up and a couple inches of her back showing. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what happened next! Katie made a beeline straight for the woman! Arlin tried to catch up with her, but he didn't get to her in time, and Katie--with the most serious look on her face--reached up and pulled the woman's shirt down for her!! Arlin was embarrassed half to death! But he said he actually got a good laugh out of it once they were out of earshot of the woman. :-)

Katie, your innocence and straightforward approach to everything really makes me smile sometimes!

LOL!!! What else can you do but laugh, right?! At least she's not pulling shirts up!!!
I wonder if she'll notice all the silly people with their pants hanging on the ground?! Do you think she'll pull them up or down?! Hee hee!!!

Hoping that all the news about school, etc. is good. Am so interested to know more now that some time has passed :-)

AWESOME endo news! Better a little extra weight than too little, in my opinion! Reserves are good! If only I could mash up french fries for Gracie's feedings! :-)

(There is a young teen with CHARGE who doesn't like ponytails... I met her in the elevator at the 2007 Conference... when she pulled me halfway to the floor by my ponytail! Her mom was horrified (because usually she spots the ponytails and is on guard). Of course, I told her it was fine... that I should have been less lazy and done something more creative with my hair. That made her laugh and the ride was over. What else can you do..? Apologize and laugh it off!)

Oh my, I totally get it! Jack saw a small tattoo on a relative of ours (lower back) and has since made it his mission to seek out tattoos on anyone and I mean ANYONE! He pulls shirts up with a smile and asks "Tattooooo?????" hard to explain and made more than a few people squirm. At least he goes for the back of the shirt?!?

I am sure Arlin was embarrassed but glad he got a good laugh afterwards :)

Very Very Funny!!

Christopher has to make sure his sleeves are covering his arms and his pants are covering his legs or he fixes it.... I dont think I have experienced it with him doing it to us though. When we switch to summer wear he gets confused as to why his shorts don't go all the way down!

Oh, my goodness, this vignette made me laugh! (I loved Kristi's comment that at least she's not pulling shirts up!) I'm happy Arlin was laughing about it after the woman was out of earshot :-). Love you, sweet Katie!
