Katie had her blood test on Monday morning to check for PANDAS, but we still don't have the results yet. Her pediatrician said we would have the results of one of the tests Monday afternoon and the other on Tuesday. When we hadn't heard anything by yesterday afternoon, Arlin called the lab and found out from them that the one test takes 48 hours for results (so we should get that one today), but the other one takes a week! Ugh. Guess we'll continue to wait.
Katie has a CT scan of her sinuses tomorrow morning. We're not really expecting them to find anything with that, but her ENT wanted to do it just as a precautionary measure, to make sure he wasn't missing something.
So far today, Katie has had the best day she's had in weeks. She's been on a low dosage of an anti-anxiety medication for 6 days now, so we may be seeing it start to kick in. It was good to see her a little happier and more focused this morning!

I am sorry that you are having to play the waiting game.... I hate that game!
So glad to hear that she is having a good day... I hope it continued to go that way throughout the day. Hopefully the med is kicking in and will help her out.

The waiting game continues - - you and Arlin must be exhausted on so many levels.
